Martina Jaeger - A wie Arschbombe
| Martina Jäger plays with geometric shapes, exploring combinations of bright and bold colours and assembling them into strange and funny compositions. She sets out to discover her own unique illustration language by exploring meaning and message, always trailing on the edge of abstraction. While the meanings are mostly open to be seen in different ways, her message makes them individually interesting. She specializes in digital illustration, but also works with wall paint, gouache, crayons, oil and printing techniques. Her expertise includes murals, editorial illustrations, posters, cards, CDs, vinyls and textile patterns. The themes that inspires her are psychology, philosophy, gender, body language and music. Martina holds a degree in Architecture and Visual Communication (Graphic Design and Photography) and won an award in Fine Arts with her masters project. Currently she works as a graphic designer and photographer in Salzburg. |
